Dot (a giveaway)

I’m so excited about what my friend Hallie is doing through her new venture, Dot. The basic premise of Dot is this: buy school supplies, fund school for children in developing countries. To learn more about Dot, check out the website here.

I love celebrating. Anniversaries, birthdays, Wednesdays. To celebrate Dot’s launch, the last little smidgen of summer, and back to school (oh my gosh, it’s soon) I’m giving away some Dot products here on the blog. I’ve purchased a set of Dot’s beautiful recycled-newspaper pencils and one of the handy Dot journals to give away to a lucky winner. To enter, go like Dot’s page on Facebook and then leave a comment here to let me know you did. The winner will be selected August 5th and I’ll send some happy mail your way (within the 50 states). Whether you’re a teacher, a student, or a grocery-list jotter, the pencils and journals are functional and beautiful. Can’t wait to share them!

I love it! As a school supply connoisseur, I think that selling pencils and notebooks ( something everyone uses) is a perfect and practical way to fund the education of sweet little people around the world.
